Shade Tent

Dear Folks,

Attached are a couple of pictures of a tent I made for our Crealock 37. It is made of greenhouse shade cloth that blocks 85% of sun (and UV), four 8' fiberglass tent poles, and tape along all the seams. I made it it two pieces, each about 6' wide by 12' long. While we still have some bugs to work out in setting it so far we are VERY pleased! Already we find we can sit out in the cockpit without getting any more fried than we already are. I'll let you know how it fares over a winter in the Bahamas.

Pictured on our wonderful mooring spot in Buck's Harbor, Maine. (There is a Bald Eagle nest in those trees just off our port side in Picture # 1, and a small waterfall off the Stbd side in pic # 2. What a spot!)
