Replacing mine on my Cal 28 ...

I did alot of research before I did ... went all rope ... and it was less expensive ... be aware you might need to change your masttop sheaves

and as I like to report on good service from vendors ... you might want to give Kevin Coffey at R&W Rope a call and ask him for his recommendation ... they do both
