This may seem like a bit of a crazy question, and please do bear in mind it is just a question...

Has anybody ever installed a cat flap on board?

The reason I ask is that during the summer months I will be spending months at a time with my boat moored on along the river bank in a place where it would be perfectly safe for my cat to come and go as she pleased.

I am wondering about the possibility of using a cat flap to allow my moggy to come and go as she pleases when in a suitable spot for an extended length of time.

Has anybody done this?

I was thinking of possibly converting a porthole or window rather than companionway (for security) and maybe even take one of these to pieces to utilise the tech inside it.
