Tartan 42

Hi: Sadly our Tartan 42 must go - as we are moving to a trawler.
This elegant Sparkman & Stephens design is the 3-cabin racer-cruiser version of the lighter, more spartan T41. Link for pictures: http://tinyurl.com/2v49znp
There are 8 berths, 6 with lee cloths, (though we used the forepeak for storage down the West Coast to Mexico). Has 5ft draft Scheel keel.
Our vessel was thoroughly upgraded before our 2005-2008 voyage and little used since then. Upgrades included: all-new standing/running rigging, new Profurl NC42, custom SS twin anchor bracket, mast steps, full dodger/bimini weather enclosure, new main, storm jib, trysail and trysail track, new ComNav 1420 Autopilot (below cockpit), Garmin color Chartplotter 182C, house deep-cycle and starter batteries, new solid teak (strip) cabin sole etc
She has Adler-Barbour Fridge-Freezer, 3-burner propane Stove, Dickenson Diesel Heater, ICOM SSB with Pactor modem for e-mail, Avon 4-man life raft, Monitor WindVane self-steering, Heart 2kW Inverter/Charger, 3-bladed MaxProp, 2x120 Watts solar panels, total of 9 sails etc.
Anti-fouling and zincs have been done annually. Surveyed A1 in June, 2012! Located Vancouver, BC Canada, just North of Seattle, WA
In short, if you are considering a bluewater voyage, this one is ready to go!
Asking 98,000 but price and scope negotiable. Take a Look!
