Electronic technicians use something called a signal generator to trace circuits. You should be able to get one at
Radio Shack. They put a low level audio signal on a circuit which you can pick up at the other end. This is a lot more labor-intensive than having a circuit diagram, but it should enable you to create such a diagram.
