PNW Instructor Recommendations?

Hi! I have been crewing on race day for quite a while (~10 years) and am now looking to improve my experience and certification in order to eventually buy and live aboard a sailboat.

I have read much of the discussion back and forth on standards, certification etc, and from the sounds of things the various standards (CYA, IPSA, ASA) are pretty similar, but what to watch for is getting the best instructor. So, there is the rub. Can anyone recommend a great instructor in the Vancouver area? I'm thinking about getting my intermediate/bareboat certification, and have settled on a "cruise and learn" format.

The same instructors seem to be used by the various people operating the courses, but it's difficult to find out who it is until you step on the boat!

In any case, the current leading candidates are:
- Cooper (CYA, 5 day)
- Sailcraft (IPSA, 9 day)
- Vancouver Sailing Club (ASA, 7 day) + options

Does anyone have personal experience with these courses, and can recommend any particular instructors or course??

Thanks!
