Now I am confused......Not really, i thought that second chsinplate was of the boat in the post. Either way upgrading bolts on chainplates and bolts are a good idea. I used 7/16 bolts when put new chainplates in last year....you may also want to check out http://plasticclassicforum.com/forum this site is a good source of info and sometimes used classic boats. A real nice pearson triton yawl sold there for 5900 a month or so ago. it was in very good shape with many areas refit and upgraded.
