All though the info above is mainly Amateur
Radio oriented..IMHO..learning the basic electrical theories and regulations put licensed amateurs above those that just simply get a marine
SSB station license. It will pay dividends in the long run not only maintaining and operating a ships HF radio but also understanding and trouble shooting ships electrical problems.
