Has the abandoned light house on Poole's Island be un-abandoned?

I was sailing last night. My teenage son asked whether I was interested in doing a overnight sail; how can I say no? Even though there were absolutely ZERO.ZERO wind when we got to the marina (and an incoming boat confirmed there was nothing on the Bay either), we set out at about 7pm from Middle River. Lo and behold, a very nice breeze developed and we had a beautiful night sail, to end up at Whorton at 11.30. Yes, I know, this is pretty slow but the wind was pretty much ESE so we had some tacking to do and we also went the long way around the South tip of Poole's Island since we first thought of just going to Fairlee.

Anyway, here is the thing: I could swear that the abandoned lighthouse on Poole's Island was quick-flashing white. Very nice strong light. First I thought I was perhaps confusing it with one of the range markers north of it but I know the lights there pretty well and I don't think that was it. And then from Whorton we say the same light through the trees of Poole's Island.

I just checked the current chart (at least I think it is current, I looked on ActiveCaptain) and it is still listed as abandoned.

Anybody has any information on this? It would be cool to have this light house back!
