Regarding Pot noodles, upmarket or not ... most asian supermarkets stock the ingredients for various forms of noodle soup without the noodles. Noodles themselves are a doddle to cook and you end up with a far superior result to the overcooked gunk that comes out of the pot noodle containers. Its still a one pot operation but the results will not cause your taste buds to mutiny.
We have kept pot noodles on board for emergency supplies but it takes a lot for me to eat 'em when the real thing is so easy and damn near as quick.
