Re: Antigua anchorages and snorkeling spots

Thinking about Antigua/Barbuda for a charter in the not-too-distant future. Have visited Antigua before, but on a monster cruise ship. Really enjoyed spending time on the beach at Valley Church Bay. So, a couple of questions...

1) Prevailing winds from the East, as with most of the Caribbean?
2) Can you anchor overnight off Valley Church Bay, or is it better to pull into Jolly Harbour?
3) Best spots for an overnight anchorage around Barbuda?
4) What is the sailing like between Antigua and Barbuda? I'm sure it depends on the weather, but let's just say in "prevailing" conditions.

Thanks.
