I recently installed a Hawkeye 10d10 depth finder on our Cape Dory 25. Very thorough installation instructions covering varying types of locations. (You can look through the manual on their website).

Cost $99; reads from 3-200 feet. Ours installed without punching a hole in the hull. Located the transducer in the bilge and epoxied it in place. Dial takes a 2" hole, which you may already have on your boat. Alternatively it can be mounted using an (optional) bracket.

Great piece of gear.
