Re: Depth sounder recommendations

I recently installed a Garmin echo 200 FishFinder to replace my old Signet Marine unit. I cut the old transducer cable, but left the transducer in place because I did not want to haul in the middle of the season. I used Silicone "Glue" to stick the Garmin transducer to the inside of my hull, and it works perfectly. I have verified its accuracy to depths of over 100', and it is cool that I can "see" the fish. Total cost was ~$150.
