Sounds cool. No oven on my boat (it's only 27'), but I have made cornbread using the Dutch oven on the Origo stove top a couple of times. It works pretty well. I flip it over when its almost done to brown both sides. Spanish tortillas come out really good using the same method.
I've also made raised-bread rolls in a Dutch oven on the stove top at home, so I assume it would also work on the boat.
Never forget them. Do something to prevent it from happening again.
