Wel let's hope the OP who was hell bent on gaining off shore experience listened and ducked in somewhere on the Sound where he eventually decided to go and didn't risk his crew.

We had tornados and sustained 30 knott winds with gusts higher all afternoon proceeding the COLD front passage.
