Had a hell of a blow here in the Adirondacks. We were on tornado watch until just a short while ago. Trees are down all over the place, one right across my driveway. Power just came back on after about 4 hrs. Looks like E. LIS is just getting it now. If the front runs a normal course, it will probably blow hard for another 12-24 hrs and then get really nice. Hope the OP did not get caught out in it. I just delayed launching until some of this settles down. The Atlantic looks like a churned up mess, Africa just keeps spawning em out, and "Son of Isaac" is reforming in the Gulf...geeeez. It's surely turned into an active year.
