Ouch....neither of these are good towing vehicles...and not just for weight reasons. Length, center of gravity, weight distribution....all are factors. Just because you can pull it and get it moving doesn't mean you should. Controlling the load is the most important aspect.

With these vehicles, I'd be looking at very small day sailors, like a Catalina 14.5 at the most. I'm not saying to buy a C14.5 (although it is a good little day sailor)...just a suggestion as to the class and size based on your needs and severe limitations.
