Please recommend sailboat museums NE US

In early November, my wife and I are traveling from the West Coast for business in DC and will spend the week before traveling from Newport along the Maine Coast and back by car and then by train to NYC and DC. Please recommend sailboat museums in the region and boat related sites that we should not miss. I love all boats but especially those that are wind-powered. And to my shame, I also like mansions even if I hate the economics and slavery that produced them.

Also, is there anything to see in Brooklin, Maine (home of the Wooden Boat School) other than the school? I might travel there in the future for a sail sewing class but wonder if it would be worthwhile to tour for fun now.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
