Re: Please recommend sailboat museums NE US

I was expecting to hear about two or three nice stops to make on the drive. Now, I'm afraid that my week long November vacation might have turned into a scouting trip for summer. I clearly need to return in summer if only to do the Bath Iron Works Trolley Tour, that must be remarkable.

Summer would also be better for visiting the craft schools and coastal lobster shacks. Heck, maybe I'll enroll in one of the craft school sail making courses. Setting the summer advantages aside, I now very much look forward to a trip that I thought would be too much like driving the Northern CA, Oregon and Washington Coasts -- that are incredible BTW.

We just don't have the sea-based history on the West Coast: not so concentrated, not so long, not so economically or socially prominent. Thanks again. I will report back.
