For the life of me I can not understand why anyone would want to moor a racer, and a Flying Scot is a blue blood racer. If I were lucky enough to own a Flying Scot I would dry sail it at Riverton. There you can keep it fully rigged (mast up) and launch and retrieve with a crane. All you need is a trailer. Among the advantages is that you can keep your bottom spotlessly clean, don't have to worry about debris hits, nor worry about rain sinking your boat, and also you can take it home with you in the off season.
