To paraphrase a famous Yogi Berra quote..."when you come to a fork in the road take it"
Well after sell our Macgregor back in March we've been looking for just the right boat for us. Something in the 30-32 ft range, with a wide beam, as a wide body myself I need room to swing. We like the layout on the old Hunters, mid '80s versions. About 3 weeks ago a broker friend calls and tells me about a H34' he's getting in and he'll let me have it a great price. He wanted to clean it up a bit first. Well after he re-bedded the deck hardware, checked all of the deck for moisture, all new running rigging, new teak holly sole, cleaned the eng including new belts and hoses, sails just back from Sailcare. Insurance survey comes in great, valued at about 25% over the agreed price. This boat is clean and in great shape. Should do the closing on Saturday.
