space saving ideas and multi use

Being limited on space I have found that it is important for things to have multiple uses. Here are some of my ideas and gear. Large pelican boxes mounted to the deck for storage also doubles as luggage personal dock cart and luggage. Hi viz yellow motorcycle gear with liners better than any foul weather gear I have found warm and dry in even the most extreme conditions. eliminates me having to store motorcycle gear and foul weather gear. Only downside is no hood. Zip off pants are great space savers as well. Columbia style fishing shirts are amazingly versatile just roll sleeves when you want short sleeves plus they roll up to about the size of a pair of socks. A kindle saves a HUGE amount of space normally taken up by books also works for days on a single charge. A cheap blow up pool float works great as a mattress for sleeping on the deck on those beautiful nights at anchor and well as lazy days floating around with a cold beer. Many spices have medicinal purposes and well as making food more interesting. A thermos is great for keeping coffee hot or as a bunk warmer or for slow cooking a meal. Grain alcohol can be used in the stove consumed or used as a disinfectant. space bags are a great way to save space and store out of season clothes and you don't have to worry about them being musty next season. Lets hear some of your ideas.
