Both are common, but on a trailered boat I would guess "Licensed".

If she is indeed "Registered" - be sure to close the Registration - I can probably "guide" you with that if your boat is indeed Registered.

The boat's a 28', and has lived at a harbor that's in the US for around 5 years. It's owner lives in Whitehorse, Yukon, 120 miles away. The boat flies the Canadian flag. I'm assuming that means it's registered. The trailer lives in Whitehorse with the owner, so I'm assuming it's registered/licensed in Yukon. The owner says the trailer's rarely been used.

I'm also told that for overland transport through a short stretch of Canada back into the U.S., I will need a Canadian customs broker. Is that correct? Or do I do a switch of registration/nationality before transport and avoid that?
