Re: Who uses the Coast Pilot?
I do have the Coast Pilot on board and do read it along with other things when sailing into a new area. There is a lot of free information available about the US so the Coast Pilot is one source. On the other hand, the NGA "Sailing Directions" that cover the rest of the world are a primary source for me. Again, they are free, for those who would like to check them out the link is:
