He probably got a deal on it...the original owner decided he wanted a bigger boat in the middle of construction.
Tim's coffee is not bad. Their donuts used to be better when they were made fresh in each store. Some years ago they ripped out all the fryers and replaced them with big freezers. Now they are made in a big factory back east somewhere, frozen and shipped to the stores where they are microwaved to finish cooking them. (although they do glaze and fill them on premises...)
They have never been the same since! I can understand how they wouldn't catch on in the USA where they are used to the likes of Krispy Creme and their hyper-sweet cardiac bombs! (which never caught on up here!)
