The hull is cored. However, C&C really knew how to use this material and did it right. When you get your survey, the surveyor should be aware of the cored hull and examine accordingly. Make sure the surveyor doesn't have a bias against cored hulls- some of them automatically assume the worst, perhaps based on experiences with other manufacturers.
The 37+ is a really great boat. The water's too shallow in the west end of Lake Erie to sail one here, otherwise it would be at the top of my short list.
