I actually purchased your app when we cruised to Maine last year. We expected and would often find there was no 3G signal there and being able to save a couple of days ahead was very helpful.
A very frequent example is nearby. Despite there being a cell tower on top of Cuttyhunk island, reception in the harbor is very bad. This is a very common anchorage when heading up or down the coast, even for a weekend. Having wind data available can help decide tomorrow's anchorage or insure we are n a good spot to swing overnight.
