True, it's more fun to be harsh though. I own a Formosa 41 myself so it's not exactly like I'm sailing a T-bird.

I've raced on a 1980 catalina 30 for 10 years. It's a suprisingly sturdy and good sailing boat. We never point quite as high as the competition but we are competitive. I have never sailed on a hunter, though at the dock their hardware seems undersized. I also don't see the point of the overly complicated BNR rig.
