The strategy of using the
stove as a Faraday cage makes a lots of sense, in theory, and I do put the
handheld in the
oven when there's risk of lightning. But I'm also very curious whether anyone on the net has first-hand experience of equipment in the
stove (or any other Faraday device) surviving a strike that disabled equipment elsewhere on the boat?
