The Black Cat is great because it's flameless and the exhaust is catalyzed so you won't gas yourself. Just make sure you have an adequate flow of air into the cabin so that the oxygen level doesn't get too low. I doubt your cabin seals that tightly anyway.
I would want something that can be run while sailing, so you could go down below to warm up periodically and therefore extend your sailing season a bit.
I am unsure how the alcohol heater can have 5000 btu's but the propane only 3000... and which would be safer...
So the black cat doesn't release CO and CO2? You can't gas yourself with it? How is this possible?
