I am convinced that Nexus is great but I ended up with a boat that has Simrad instruments
Salonas come with Nexus instruments but they can mount
Raymarine if you want. For what I have heard on this thread I would stick up with Nexus.
I ended up buying an used boat that come with Simrad.
Now about Simrad.... well the 2002
raymarine plotter I had was faster then the 2007 Simrad I have now
and I liked more the
Raymarine instruments, with the exception of the
autopilot that is really good.
I have a
Furuno 2007
radar that is really crap compared with the 2002
raymarine I had. It has not even MARPA and without that a
radar worth a lot less regarding its use.
From Nexus I have the
binoculars they represent (Eterna). I had already on the other boat the previous model when they were "Silva". They are great with an incredible low light capability.
