Good point about the larger size of the tiny tot. Though I'd have suspected that a bigger charge in a tiny tot will burn about as quickly as a smaller charge in a pet, given the internal similarities. But the bigger stove has a bigger surface area to radiate heat from, so might be more efficient. I have a similar boat to yours--Alajuela 33 with a 10' 8" beam so there's a fair amount of volume to heat, and the head and galley are amidships, dividing the cabin space.
Sounds like you had a PS Mariah?
