At the risk of straying into total grossness (is that a word?), since I carry water in gallon jugs for cooking and making tea, I save the empties and when under way and can not go over the side, I use the jugs. That way my aim is true, and no need to flush the head (thereby filling it up even faster). When I reach somewhere I can empty my trash, I simply toss out the jug/s. No fuss, no muss. Not the most appealing method perhaps, but it works well when you're by yourself and don't want to be inside too long.

Free, is the heart, that lives not, in fear.
Full, is the spirit, that thinks not, of falling.
True, is the soul, that hesitates not, to give.
Alive, is the one, that believes, in love.
