I use an iPad and pretty much keep the
chartplotter turned off most of the times. I can't tell you hou many times I have dropped it in the cockpit and it still works. Amazing product. iNavs is the best app I found for navigation. squidd.io is great for finding marinas and anchorages near your current position. You get a close up satellite view, user ratings etc.
