I would add that those who have their experience based upon time sailing the fin keeled featherdusters should expect to learn some new techniques for sailing a heavy full keeled boat. I've heard some say that the boat is unresponsive; unable to sail close to the wind or not able to tack in light winds. These are the problems typical for those that are accustomed to fin keel performance boats. There's a different insight in harnessing the inertia of a heavy cruiser and feeling where the boat is making the best way on.
