WaveGlider is on a distinguished road
Anyone to Midway Island area?

Greetings all –
Looking for someone that may headed near the Midway Islands.

The Wave Glider is the first unmanned autonomous marine robot to use only the ocean’s endless supply of wave energy for propulsion (no manpower, no emissions, no refueling). The Wave Glider employs a multi-patented design that allows it to cost-effectively collect and transmit data gathered during yearlong missions, over distances of thousands of miles, or while holding station. The Wave Glider enables game changing scientific discoveries to help us address the biggest challenges our world faces, including global climate change, national security, hurricane & tsunami warning, and offshore energy & resource management.

We are in need of someone that could consider a diversion to possibly recover one of our Wave Glider vehicles that is struggling, not responding to our rudder controls.

A two-part vehicle, the Wave Glider is a 7-foot float resembling a surfboard, tethered to a glider wing rack, via a 7-meter umbilical. Each part of the vehicle weighs 100-20 pounds in air (about 250 lbs total); I will attach pictures once I can; take a look at our website (liquidr.com) for some great photos and video.

If you know of anyone passing in, through, or about this location, we are interested to discuss possibilities and some funding for a divergence.
Thanks in advance to all!
