I've been using only Chevron Delo 15-40 in my Universal 5432 for 6 years and over 500 hours. I would choose it over other options, and especially over a straight 30 weight. Like was said here, if they had 15-40 back in the day they would have recommended it.

Fun story: Back in the early 80's I was given a VW bug that had been running only 80 W aircraft engine oil for over 100,000 miles. The original owner swore by it. Never leaked, never smoke, nothing. I thought, hell, how can that be? Won't flow right in the passages and such. Started using "normal" 30 weight and of course, starting leaking and burning oil. Went back to 80 W and had no problems until I sold the car years later.
