What I've learned...

Hearing, feeling your boat pushing through waves with no other sound but those waves.

Understanding that, if you do it right, you can travel around the entire earth - with nothing more than those sails, your smarts, and your determination.

Feeling the familiar rush of exhileration when you see the dolphins playing in your wake...and knowing that will never, ever grow old.

Moving through the stars...above and below.

Reveling in the sense of freedom, power, and exhileration that comes with the biggest adventure you can possibly imbibe.

Beating back that gnawing knowledge that it's just a matter of time before...
