All of that!

Do you sail a boat that you can feel hunting for the "sweet spot"? Our small catboat, in 10 knots, beating, seems to "hunt" for the wind threads and push its nose into the slots. The tiller keeps me informed. I get to play on the "big boat", too, but its spade rudder and wheel take away the immediate feedback a barn door on a tiller provides. You can close your eyes and follow the wind.
