CaptKermie, this boat is targeted at who they were aiming in the first place. Club racers and people looking for a fun second boat. (maybe owners of larger cruise boats).
Don't think they built it to sail to St. Thomas and live inside. Its a small Club racer, that you can go inside and sit, while eat a sandwich. Its excatly what it is. Didn't see any carbon in the photos.

If you want a racer that you can also cruise, you have to go much bigger, and the price will be much much higher. The 36.7 might be a good choice, but this thing will fly past it, and suck the paint out of the beneteau.
