Scott Gibbs at Evolution Sails in Easton, MD makes a great sail at a very reasonable price. They also (as do most lofts) do a lot of racing sails. But their cruising sails are fast and have a great shape. I call their cruising sails "cruisers with an attitude"

I have a Bacon headsail and would not recommend it. The entry is way too fine and I've tried everything with the rig to give it more shape. I'm sending it to Evolution for modification and get some more power into it. I will praise Bacon's customer support. We had a major problem with a used sail (first and last) and they made it right with question - nearly a year after the purchase!
