Re: good quality sails?

If you want lessor cost, get the FX triradial inshore sails. Will be good for light winds, reasonably low cost, advertise on here. I have not heard of anything super bad about the sails. If you want better ones, then go to the offshore triradials. Triradials do work a bit better than panel sewn dacron in lighter winds. The triradial will also cost 1015% more than dacron. If you wan t abit better, Ullmans Cal will be on par to a bit higher than triradial, and aPentax traradial will be a bit more expensive yet, and bet better yet flir light wind venues. Of course if you want "the best" then string/load paths sails are the way to go. But figure 2-3 times as much as a panel sewn sail!
