Good story!
You just never know what's going to happen when you start a job.
One thing I have learned over the years is that if things are not working as expected, take a break, look things over and find out WHY things are not going right.
I can't yell you how many times I have found 'one more bolt' or a 'hidden screw' or something else that prevented me from easily taking something apart. It's much easier to do something right than to repair something you broke.
