Re: 2012 Sailing Season

Our season is officially over. I went for a daysail on Thanksgiving morning and winterized the fresh water system. Sharon and I went down yesterday to strip and fold the sails. The boat comes out of the water sometime this week.

My thoughts are already turning to winter projects and next season.

Winter/spring projects for me are making a new bimini on a borrowed Sailrite machine, refinishing the cockpit and interior dining tables, bottom painting/hull waxing, and deciding to repair or replace the dinghy motor that broke down again. I'm also going to help build a wooden boat on Saturday weekends at CBMM since boatbuilding is something I've always wanted to learn more about.

Next season we're really committed to doing a cruise of 10 days to two weeks on our boat.
