Voltage loss comes in over 50 or 60 ft & my understanding is worse when the load gets larger. Solar power has such minimal outputs ANY load is larger! The most common item for a heavy load on a boat is a windlass or electric heating elements (stove, heaters etc) and the windlass is usually up front anyway. An electric kicker motor would also draw substantially. But if you feel that your setup falls within voltage loss parameters, all you do is go up one wire size from the individual component recommendations and your covered.
