As a victim of (3) bent rods in our 3GM30F..the first question from Mack Boring(East Coast Yanmar distributor) was did I use any form of quick start fluid methods such as those previously mentioned in this thread... Bottom
line don't do it.. Follow Yanmar's Owners manual for cold start procedures for you particular model.
