Well, I asked the question and you answered it. 3/4 it is. I'll check the cleats for size. Did not know the 16 times the rope diameter cleat thing. Great info. I'll look close at the difference between the 3 strand and the double braid. In fact I should do some research on spicing both types since I intend to splice a loop into one end of each dock line.
