NYC to houston- 5-6 weeks minimum. time to make boat sailable prior to departure- unknown.
General rule of thumb- if you can;t afford the time and money to truck a damaged boat of unknown condition halfway across the country overland, you definitely can't afford the time and money to fix her and sail her to the same destination.
A reusable seasonal storage cradle for that boat will cost you $1500- $2000 to construct in steel. Load it on a rented/borrowed flatbed trailer with the appropriate weight rating, get the permits and 3 days later you are home.
