Sounds like SVAndreas boat. Good guy I would contact him over the inside consdition of the boat. Who did you buy it from?

Sailin it from NYC is an undertaking. Sounds like your costal/ offshore experience is limited. May be expensive to get to TexaS unlerss you do it yourself, which will not be easy either.
