Thanks guys! Mainesails instructions are fantastic. I gather from the SJ34 that the answer to my question is that the Imperial is supposed to be a sort of one step compound and polish. I'm probably not as anal as Mainesail, but I planned on three steps anyway. Good thing I saved the reciept! I'lll inquire about presta at the ship's store.
